The Sunset Resort Rarotonga is set on the shores of a sheltered lagoon, only 10 minutes drive from the main town of Avarua, where the international airport is located and just minutes from the Golf Course. ****** For flights arriving between 6.00pm and 8.00am, clients MUST book a mandatory Airport Transfer in order to complete correct check-in procedures. Private balcony / patio includes deck chairs and sun lounger which overlooks the pool and lush tropical gardens in a quiet, private, relaxed setting.A small bistro is located on site. However several restaurants serving a variety of local and international cuisine are within walking distance of the Resort. Each room has self catering facilities with a fully equipped kitchen. There is a small lounge area with books and magazines in one corner of the bistro.Resort and hotel style accommodation with 35 spacious self-catering studio's and suites. One swimming pool set in the centre and one swimming pool set near the cocktail bar.Small lobby and tour desk.No kids under 12 allowed. This resort is set on a secluded beach front location on the sheltered western side of the island and offers great sunsets. The beach is nice, but does have a lot of coral.
